The Dangerous Subject: "Collective Consciousness."
The concept of collective consciousness was first described in 1893 by Émile Durkheim. Furthermore, the consciousness and behavioral researcher Dr. Carl Gustav Jung was able to identify and substantiate this mystical force which hovers over us all as far back as 100 years ago.
That was over a century ago; today, no one speaks of it anymore.
Researchers who dedicated their lives to this subject now react nervously when asked about it.
They attempt to deflect sometimes displaying almost childish behavior by trying to redirect my focus toward AI.
It is also curious that if you search for "collective consciousness" today, you find only dubious spiritual sources that seem merely to dilute the subject. -> A typical and frequently employed tactic borrowed from the stock market.
To reiterate: a network that connects us all and which was thoroughly researched 100 years ago is a topic that no one discusses today, and one that is now extremely difficult to research.
Just imagine: with such a network in place, all the filth we currently find ourselves mired in becomes possible. It explains why we lie like toddlers, get easily agitated, and what’s worse view such behavior as completely normal. All simply because a big orange clown sets the example.
No matter how strongly you may oppose him it makes absolutely no difference.
What matters is who controls the stage, and which topic they choose to place in the spotlight.
It is not the outcome that is decisive, but rather the behavior that rubs off on us all.
Conclusion: A subject that is over 100 years old and affects every single one of us is represented by *this* kind of Wikipedia page?
