#AfD voters apparently suffer from a collective case of Stockholm Syndrome.

A Stockholm Syndrome in which the kidnapper pretends to be the savior.
They put their trust in a web of "lying spam posts" on social media claims suggesting, for instance, that a powerful "Green" force intends to seize control of the market, or that the COVID vaccine will soon trigger a mass die off.
They have exploited people's fears by conflating them with genuine, parallel issues regarding immigration policy.

In this way, it becomes all too easy to rally a large crowd of voters behind them. It follows a simple logic:

"Well, they *are* right about *that* point, and they *do* just want to help us so let's just overlook all the other crap and give them a pass."
But what troubles me most is this: why do they *all* collectively fail to see the evil in Putin or in those AfD creeps!?
All I have to do is take a quick look at their faces, and I can instantly spot their lies and their nasty characters.
And then I see grown adults people's children actually defending these individuals.
Have you all forgotten what "evil uncles" look like?
