Responses from Respected Scientists

I have been corresponding with three of them over the past ten months, and here are the respective outcomes.

I first reached out four years ago to a renowned consciousness researcher who has spent his entire life investigating ESP and the mysteries of human consciousness.
I told him about the otherworldly experiences (ESP) I was undergoing at the time experiences that had driven me to fear I might be suffering from schizophrenia. He alleviated my fears and encouraged me to press on. I did just that, and in the process, I made an exciting discovery that fell squarely within his field of expertise.
Once I felt confident in my theory, I naturally wanted to inform him about it, so I wrote to him last year. His response came quickly once again but this time, everything had changed.
The understanding scientist I had known before had suddenly morphed into a full blown, petulant child. Without addressing the theory itself, he seemed to fixate solely on the fact that a book was supposedly in the works specifically, one based on the "Mathematical Principles Theory." That was his first mistake.
He wrote back telling me that he currently had to answer some 10 to 20 inquiries just like mine. He claimed they were *all* drafted using AI and he practically gushed about how these inquiries would surely lead to the creation of groundbreaking works.

At first, I was baffled: Why had he completely disregarded everything else in my email to focus exclusively on the book? And why did he assume it had been written using AI? I simply couldn't make heads or tails of it.
I thought perhaps I hadn't explained myself clearly enough. So, I drafted a brief reply in which I formulated the system and its conclusions with great precision, condensing them into just two sentences. Finally, I added a note clarifying that the book was *not* AI-generated.

Another response arrived very quickly. This one exposed his game. He quoted the sentence in which I stated that I hadn't used AI, and replied: "All the better."

So first he writes that the future belongs to AI, without ever engaging with the actual content of my message.
Yet just a few minutes later, that is no longer the case; he once again completely dismisses everything else I wrote even though he had clearly read through the entire message? When I was just a confused little guy who didn't even understand himself, everything was fine; but the moment you want to share information on an equal footing, the fun is over.
And even if he *was* being serious as a consciousness researcher, to be reading fanciful stories from a "robo-brain" and actually finding them groundbreaking well, there’s clearly nothing for me to gain there anyway.

The next person I wrote to is a highly sought-after researcher in the field of reality studies. I briefly outlined the whole story to him as well, including a link and so on. It took some time for a reply to arrive, but eventually, it did. At first glance, it looked like an impersonal, AI-generated mass email. Once again, it was a text completely disconnected from the actual subject matter one I didn't understand at first.
It was full of the kind of verbose fluff typical of AI, clearly designed to steer me toward networking with the AI system belonging to the scientist I had originally contacted. As is common with mass emails, this one wasn't sent by the boss personally; an employee wrote to me, though they did put the boss in the CC field.

Once again, there was a total disregard for the actual topic, delivered via a truly poorly executed text clearly designed to create the illusion that it gets sent out all the time implying that there are many people just like me. It was completely generic boilerplate with zero substance, serving only one purpose: to get me to connect via the provided link.
So why was he put in CC? Why would he want to see this impersonal, standard spam email if I’m supposedly so unimportant?

Then there was another highly sought-after mathematician whom I messaged via chat a few months ago.
Naturally, he completely ignored everything as well. The thing is, though, he apparently doesn't understand how the Facebook algorithm works. I’ve actually messaged him about this several times on my timeline already.
Either he hasn't seen those messages, or he simply doesn't grasp that I can tell when he’s poking around on my profile. He pops up every week or two, then slips away again without saying a word. 555 Somehow, it’s always a little amusing to keep seeing his face it reminds me of Michael Burry.

Well, I guess that’s not exactly easy for a nobody.
